Click on link

I would like the control to be able to click on a link that is enbedded and have the system open a browser to the link location. Should be able to accept a URL or URI (network file location)

A link in the actual rich text editor itself? That's not a feature I've seen in other RTEs (TinyMCE for instance).

Could you elaborate on the reason you want a feature like that?

I was just thinking that if I am going to put a link in a document that link should be active. Otherwise why have the ability to put links in the document at all.

The idea when I wrote this was that you'd give end users the ability to create HTML content without knowing HTML, and then that HTML could be used elsewhere. For a simple example: a web-site that the administrator uses a winforms app to update content. This control isn't meant to really display content (except as a preview when editing).

Making the links clickable would be difficult because of a) the limited control I have over the MSHTML rendering engine, b) if clicking a link opens a browser, then what action would I take to change/delete the link in the editor.
